My training is in social psychology, with a focus on social cognition. I currently teach full-time at Cerritos Community College. Being employed at a two-year institution, my primary focus is on teaching. On a regular basis, I teach Introductory Psychology, Social Psychology, and Research Methods. I conduct research on the scholarship of teaching and learning, and mentor several students each semester in independent research. I am the author of Think: Social Psychology.

I have been recognized for my teaching and mentoring of undergraduate students with both the Wayne Weiten Teaching in Excellence Award (APA, Society for the Teaching of Psychology) and the PT@CC Excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning from APA.
